My day in Shanghai ended Sunday the first of July, and it started with lazing around in bed until around 10 because the day before was exhausting. I was sore all over. And I took the opportunity to be introspective and be grateful for the places I have explored, the food I have eaten and the person I am.
My friend and I went in the French concession area to have lunch at a Turkish restaurant called Pasha Turkish restaurant.
It was a nice and cozy place. It’s a bit small but I didn’t mind it. The food was good too. I had meat skewers, and rice and grilled peppers. I found the food quite pricey for the quantity that I got, but then, it was good.
I also went into a mall nearby, and there were some very interesting stores and stuff.
There was this muji store which was on three or more levels of the mall and the decor was amazing. I definitely recommend you check it out if you are in the neighbourhood.
And the metro is near and thus very convenient to get to and from.
That concludes my journey through Shanghai. I didn’t complete everything that was planned. For instance, I was supposed to go to the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum in the morning, but because we were so sore, we decided to take rest and that has got postponed for some other time. You cannot always do everything. The best you can do is have fun.
Thank you for reading about my experiences. Tell me what places you would want to visit in the comment section below!
